Auran is an Australian video game developer and publisher based in Brisbane, Queensland. The company was established in 1995 by Greg Lane and Graham Edelsten and released its first game, Dark Reign, in 1997. Auran is also known for developing the Trainz railroad simulator series, which uses their self-developed middleware game engine Auran JET. They are also working on Fury, a massively multiplayer online game.

Auran has also published a number of games for the Australian market, including Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich, Shadowgrounds and Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday.
